Yan Yonggang, general manager of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), has met in Nantong, Jiangsu Province with local officials and business executives, conducting business activities, in addition to conducting field research at CREC4 construction sites.
Han kicked off the business activities and field research between May 5 and 7, which was also attended by Geng Jin, CREC4 Business Manager and chief of CREC4 East China Regional Operations Command, Zhang Jun, assistant general-manager of CREC4 and director of CREC4 Investment and Development Department, and other leaders from CREC4 East China Regional Operations Command, CREC4 Jiangsu Operations Center, CREC4 Second Engineering Co., Ltd, CREC4 Steel Structure Construction Co., Ltd, CREC4 Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd, CREC4 Real Estate Co., Ltd and CREC4 Eighth Engineering Co., Ltd.
In a meeting on May 5 with Wu Xinming, secretary of CPC (Communist Party of China) Nantong Municipal Committee, Han noted that while paying vital attention to the Nantong market, CREC4 has deeply participated in the construction of infrastructure such as urban rail transit and high-speed railway projects in the city. Han hoped that both sides can intensify their existing cooperation, so as to make new contributions in building a “strong, wealthy, beautiful and high-tech Nantong.”
Noting that Nantong has entered a fast lane in its high-quality social and economic development, Wu hoped that both parties can launch strategic cooperation, in a bid to usher in mutual benefit and win-win achievement, and jointly promote the high-quality economic and social development in Nantong.

In a meeting on May 5 with Wang Zhi, Party secretary and chairman of Nantong Urban Transit Group Co., Ltd., Han hoped that both parties can expand the scope and depth of cooperation in such spheres as urban rail transit construction, urban underground space development, and quality engineering construction, so as to boost their win-win cooperation and common development.
While lauding the existing sound cooperation, Wang hoped that both sides can leverage their respective strengths to solidify cooperation in a wider range of fields, and jointly write a new chapter for the high-quality development of Nantong Metro.

Earlier, on March 19, CREC4 started building its high-end intelligent construction headquarters project in Nantong’s Chongchuan District and Tongzhouwan (Tongzhou Bay) Sea and Lake Joint Development Demonstration Zone. The CREC4 High-end Intelligent Construction Headquarters project, with a total investment of 5 billion yuan ($724 million), includes a high-end building intelligent manufacturing headquarters and an intelligent manufacturing industry base.
Han noted that upon completion of the high-end intelligent construction headquarters project, it will enhance the general contracting capacity of CREC4 in the field of steel structure construction engineering and is conducive in building the base into a logistics hub for CREC4’s overseas businesses. In the next stage, the bub will continuously optimize its production process layout and fully leverage its full industrial chain advantages, in a bid to help promote the high-quality development of the demonstration zone, Han said.
Ding promised to provide best services in helping the project to see rapid construction, timely investment, on-time production and efficiency.

In the morning of May 6, Han also paid a visit to the No 1 Bid of Xingfu (Happiness) Vehicle Depot being built by CREC4 Second Engineering Co., Ltd., conducting field research.
The Xingfu Vehicle Depot and platform construction project, as the first TOD (transit-oriented development) project in Nantong, will help drive a new round of urban construction through top-level design, helping to usher in new advantages for future development in the city.

In the afternoon of May 6, Han paid a visit to the CREC4 intelligent manufacturing industry base project, conducting his field research.
The CREC4 intelligent manufacturing industry base, located in Tongzhouwan Sea and Lake Joint Development Demonstration Zone, covers a land area of 495 mu (33 hectares) with an investment of 2 billion yuan for a total construction area of 140,000 square meters.
And in the morning of May 7,Han paid a visit to the CREC4 high-end building intelligent manufacturing headquarters project, conducting his field research. The project is being built by CREC4 Steel Structure Construction Co., Ltd.
