Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), has launched a series of business activities and conducted a field research in Sichuan Province during July 12 and 14, intending to bolster business ties with the province.

On July 12, Liu held talks with Shao Gejun, secretary of Dazhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), aiming to share information resources, leverage complementary advantages in a bid to realize mutually beneficial cooperation and win-win progress with the prefecture-level city.
Liu noted that CREC4 is willing to give into full play to its own advantages so as to participate fully in Dazhou’s construction and development.
While welcoming Liu and his entourage, Shao hoped that both sides can strengthen communication, and speed up cooperation in such spheres as urban reconstruction and transport construction, in a bid to innovate cooperation modes, and greet win-win development.
In the afternoon of July 12, Liu also held talks with Xiong Longdong, deputy secretary of CPC Dazhou Municipal Committee, and secretary of the CPC Working Committee at Dazhou High-tech Industrial Park.
Liu noted that CREC4 pays high attention to the construction of Dazhou High-tech Industrial Park, and hopes to give into full play its advantage in all industrial chains, so as to positively take part in the zone’s development and help bolster its economic progress.

On July 14, Liu held talks with Zhang Yigang, Party secretary and chairman of Sichuan Development (Holdings) Co., Ltd.

Also in the afternoon of July 12, Liu conducted a field research at construction sites of CREC4 in Sichuan in helping build the Xi'an-Chongqing High-speed Railway, visiting such sites as Tongbo River Super Bridge, Dadiping Tunnel and Liujiaba Tunnel.

The 739-kilometer HSR has a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour for the trains, able to connect with the existing Chengdu-Chongqing HSR and Zhengzho-Chongqing HSR upon completion and bolstering the perfection of the road network in central and western China.
Liu called on the CREC4 builders CREC4 Second Engineering, who are building some 21 kilometers of the whole line, to help build the railway into a top-quality project.
