Wang Shiqi, deputy secretary of the CPC Committee at China Railway Group Limited (CREC) and chairman of the CREC Federation of Trade Unions, has conducted a field research at a construction site of China Railway No.4 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC4), offering guidance work on Party building.
Chen Baohua, director of the CREC Party Building Work Department, Li Haiming, director of the CREC Women Workers Department for Trade Union Rights Protection, accompanied Wang in his field research on December 20, 2023 at a construction site of CREC4 Third Engineering Co., Ltd, which also drew the participation of Liu Bo, Party secretary and chairman of CREC4, Chen Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of the CRCE4’s Party Committee and secretary of CPC Commission for Discipline Inspection at CREC4, as well as officials from related departments at CREC4 headquarters, and CREC4 Third Engineering.
While visiting the Taihu Book City Project located in Taihu Township of Tongzhou District in Beijing, Wang heard related work reports, conveyed his greetings to the CREC4 builders, and encouraged the builders to make the project into a gem project that is safe, green, innovative and clean.
At a seminar for the field research, Liu Bo reported to the CREC4 officials on CREC4’s work on Party building, business operation and company management, while leaders from CREC4 Third Engineering and the Taihu Book City Project also offered their work reports on work safety and grassroots Party building related to the project.
While offering his full affirmation to CREC4’s work on safe construction and business operation, project management and grassroots Party building, Wang also called on the CREC4 to make further progress on four areas of work. First, elevating political standing to adopt a pragmatic style of seeking truth and be brave in taking on responsibilities. Second, strengthening Party building to bolster the integration and mutual promotion of Party building guidance and high-quality development. Third, giving full play to the the spirit of being masters in the new era and ushering in concrete results in work safety, project progress, quality, and efficiency. And lastly, solidifying the construction of “happy homes” to put genuine care for the employees into practice.
